« Q&A »

Q: Is this a fanweek event?
A: No, as fanweeks are typically geared towards creators only. While this event borrows some structure of a fanweek, Crestoria Festival was created in hopes of reaching a broader audience and become a full-blown appreciation event in honor of Crestoria. You don't have to be a creator to participate, you just have to be a fan. Even if you can't draw or write, as long as you have screenshots of the game or precious memories of it in your heart, we want to hear from you so we can boost your voices and spread the love!
Q: What kind of content can I put in the hashtags for Crestoria Festival?
A: Pretty much anything and everything Crestoria you can think of is welcome in the Festival! We'd love to see your fanart, fanfiction, graphics, videos, edits, analyses, cosplay, handicrafts, scrapbooks, edible crafts, plushies, merch pictures, screenshots, memories, favorite moments, and all your love for the characters and story of Crestoria! You can get creative as you want for this event, or simply sit us down and run us through all your favorite screenshots from the game. Everything is welcome as long as it spreads love and appreciation for Crestoria!
All that we ask is please no 18+ content, and no hatred or negativity for the game or any characters be shared in the tags. And please do not post fanart that isn't your own.
Q: Do I have to create something new to participate in Crestoria Festival?
A: No! We'd be absolutely honored if you created something special for our event, but you're more than welcome to repost old creations too!
Q: Can I translate this event into another language?
A: Absolutely!! Our goal with this event is to get as many people as we can to show their love for Crestoria. If you're interested in translating things like the prompts, overview, rules, or q&a into a language other than English or Japanese, please feel free to dm us and discuss!
Q: Is this a one-time event?
A: No! The mods curretly have every intention to make this a yearly event, and are already brainstorming ideas for 2023! After the 2022 event has passed, we'll be happy to hear any ideas or suggestions for next year's event.
Q: Do I have to follow the schedule themes to participate?
A: No, sticking to the themes is not necessary! The daily themes are here to act as a guideline to make this an organized event and inspire people, but you're free to follow the prompts as closely or loosely as you'd like. Have fun with it, this is a festival!
Q: Can I create fanworks of ships for Crestoria Festival?
A: Yes! While shipping isn't the focus of the event, we know it's a very important part of the fandom experience for many. We'd be happy to see you talk about or share your creations for your Crestoria ships, both platonic and romantic! But please keep shipping content PG-13, as this is an event for all ages.
Q: Can I DM the Twitter account with questions?
A: Absolutely! Crestoria Festival is run by a very small team, so please allow us adequate time to respond, but we're happy to answer any other questions you may have about the event!
